Online deposit is a transaction requiring more security provisions. This is why Sinam requires more information about your identity when you want to make a deposit for the first time.
To be eligible to transfer money on the Sinam platform, you should provide proof of your identity or upload at least two (02) documents of different types:
Documents Loading
To upload a document:
1) From the homepage. Click on “My Account”
2) In the account management page, click on “Identification document”
3) Fill in the different fields, select the file containing the document and click on “Submit”
The files submitted have the status “Ready for supervision” for validation. Indeed, the Principal Supervisor must verify each document for validation purposes. After validation, a notification will be sent to you by email to confirm the validity of your documents sent. The supervision and validation time is 30 minutes.
NB: The identity verification is done only once. As soon as your account is validated to send money, you can send money at any time without any other form of procedure within the transfer limits set by Sinam.
Mobile Deposit
Online deposit through Sinam is done only on mobile phone accounts.
Follow these steps to instantly make a deposit to a loved one:
1) From the home page, click on “Services” in the main menu
2) Click on “Deposit”
3) In the new window displayed, select the country where the beneficiary is located
4) Select the mobile operator to which the phone number on which you want to top up belongs
5) Enter the phone number you want to send money to
6) Repeat the number (Sinam wants to make sure that you have not entered the wrong number. This is why the first entry is hidden and copy/paste is disabled
7) Click on the image of the payment methods (PayPal, Visa… Wallet) to continue then follow the instructions on the screen to complete the payment and complete the order
After payment, the beneficiary’s mobile account is credited with the amount sent within 30 seconds.
